Scott

“Did I call you at the wrong time?” he asked anxiously.

“No, its fine,” I replied.

“I would you like to have coffee with you,” he asked and I agreed to honor his invitation by saying, “I would love that.”

“Awesome! I’ll be at the coffee shop near your place in an hour, is that okay?” He asked. I could sense the eagerness in his voice.

“Yes. I’ll be there,” I replied.

“I’ll see you then,” he said excitedly.

I ended the conversation with a smile and screamed “Oh my God!” I started getting ready, fixed my hair, and decided to wear a short baby pink summer dress. I styled my hair into wavy curls. I sprayed perfume, and wore flat shoes. I grabbed my purse and I was out of the door.

I saw Scott sitting on his bike, playing with this phone. As I got closer, he stood up. We exchanged kisses and then he kissed my hand in a romantic way. I had a smile on my face. Scott seemed to be very charming so far. I told him I loved his bike. His bike was gorgeous and it was quite unique. He thanked me. The bike gave him a bad boy look. He got on the bike and told me to get on. He held my hand to serve as support as I hopped on the bike. He asked me, “Are you scared?”

I asked, “How far is the ride.” He assured me that it was not too far and he fixed my helmet. He put his own helmet on, and began to slowly ride. He told me that I could hold on to him if I wanted. “I don’t bite you know; you can hold me.” Those were his exact words. I smiled gently and held on to his waist. He started talking to me and asked me if I liked Paris.

“Yes, I love it here,” I replied with a bright smile as I enjoyed the ride.

I asked him if he liked living in Paris and he answered by saying, “I love Paris because the women here are prettier.” He looked at me from the bike’s mirror. I turned my face the other way, smiling, but he checked me out from the other mirror.

I smiled and I held him tighter with both my hands and rested my head on his shoulders. We finally got to the place where you could see the ocean; we sat on one of the big rocks. Scott grabbed his backpack and brought out a little thermos and two white mugs.

I said, “This is so clever.”

“I asked if you will like to get coffee with me, I did not say where,” he said to me, trying to be cheeky.

“True, true,” I replied with a bright smile on my face. He handed me the mug and told me to hold on. It was missing something. He handed me a teaspoon and a pack of sugar.

I smiled and said, “This is just perfect, Scott,” and I told him men were made better in Paris too.
